This is the second part of my series Before the Curfew, which aims to show that despite the ongoing war, life in Ukraine endures. These photos capture Lviv—my hometown. Perhaps the most livable and vibrant city in the series, as it sits near the border with Poland.
I shot this collection quite chaotically, forming some subseries along the way, but they still reflect the main idea. Whether it's Tram Talks or One Window View. The latter captures the view from a room that was once mine, then my brother’s, and later no one’s. It now overlooks the scars left by the attack on September 4th, 2024.
Lviv, ~1000 km from the frontline.
